We are looking for a PostDoc to conduct research on direct damages due to tropical cyclones. The position is funded for 2 years, through the Horizon-EU project COMPASS. Your key task will be to synthesize and develop methodologies to estimate the areas affected by tropical cyclone induced flooding for all world regions during the historical period. The work will include the development of a counterfactual data set to allow for attributing damages and displacement to climate change.
