CHELSA-W5E5 v1.0 global meteorological forcing data processed for ISIMIP3a. Daily data covering the period 1979-2016 on 30arcsec (~0.0083°x0.0083°), 90arcsec (0.025°x0.025°), 300arcsec (~0.083°x0.083°) and 1800arcsec (0.5°x0.5°) lat-lon grid.

Specifications

CHELSA-W5E5 v1.0 is a downscaled version of the W5E5 v1.0 dataset, where the downscaling is done with the CHELSA v2.0 algorithm, which applies topographic adjustments based on surface altitude. For the high-resolution sensitivity experiments, this dataset is provided at its original resolution of 30 arcsec as well as in spatially aggregated form, at resolutions of 90 arcsec, 300 arcsec and 1800 arcsec.
