Output Data


Below you will find a list of all the impacts simulations data sets available from ISIMIP. The terms of use describe the conditions under which these data may be used for publications.

For external users, output data is available publicly and can be downloaded via the ISIMIP ESGF server (click here for a list of caveats for Fast Track model runs). Instructions on accessing data from the ESGF server can be found here.

If you are looking for climate forcing and other input data, search the catalogue and get instructions for downloading the data here.

For external users, data sets are  available for download (subject to the terms of use) via the ESGF portal. ISIMIP participants can access these data from the DKRZ server.

The date given in the table denotes the most recent upload for the given model. Experiments marked with * are still undergoing a formal quality check and are not yet available for download.

Output data changes and caveats

Sept. 14, 2018

CLM4.5 GFDL-ESM2M extended picontrol run (1861-2099) were not kept at a constant, pre-industrial level. Instead, a constant, present-day value of 367 ppmv was used. Those runs were replaced at both, DKRZ storage and ESGF.This is an update to this caveat entry.

Aug. 9, 2018

In WaterGAP2, an inconsistent handling of total actual water consumption (atotuse) has been detected, which leads to negative values of water consumption. For a more detailed description please see Caveat_WaterGAP2_atotuse.pdfCaveat_WaterGAP2_atotuse.pdf.The model owners recommend setting these negative values to zero.

Aug. 1, 2018

PCR-GLOBWB reported the variable tws in values corresponding to a mass flux rate (kg/m2/s), although it is actually mass per area (kg/m2). The values should be multiplied by 86400 in order to obtain the correct tws values in kg/m2.

May 28, 2018

The picontrol run (exp. I) of CLM4.5 based on GFDL-ESM2M has been deleted and will be replaced soon. The run used an incorrect CO2 concentration (constant present-day values, instead of pre-industrial ones).EDIT: This issue has been resolved, see here.
