Input data set: N-deposition

Protocol relation: Protocol
Data Type: Other human influences
Simulation rounds: ISIMIP3b, ISIMIP3a
Description:

Direct human forcing.

Monthly, 0.5º gridded data for periods 1850-2014 (ISIMIP3b) and 1850-2021 (ISIMIP3a), simulated by NCAR Chemistry-Climate Model Initiative (CCMI).

Scenarios: 1850soc, 1901soc, 2015soc, histsoc, ssp126soc, ssp370soc, ssp585soc
Variables: nhx, noy
Specifications

ISIMIP3b: Gridded NHx and NOy deposition simulated by NCAR Chemistry-Climate Model Initiative (CCMI) during 1850-2100 (Tian et al., 2018; SPARC newsletter n° 40, https://www.geo.fu-berlin.de/met/ag/strat/publikationen/docs/Eyring-et-al_SPARC-Newsletter40.pdf). Nitrogen deposition data was interpolated to 0.5° by 0.5° by the nearest grid.

ISIMIP3a: Gridded NHx and NOy deposition simulated by NCAR Chemistry-Climate Model Initiative (CCMI) during 1860-2014 at monthly time step. Nitrogen deposition data was interpolated to 0.5° by 0.5° by the nearest grid. Data in 2015-2021 are taken from 2014 as it is assumed to be same (Tian et al. 2018). Observation data is provided in the histsoc/ folder. Fixed year-2015 direct human influences are provided in the 2015soc/ folder.
