“Open Science Conference of the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP)” in Rwanda, 23-27th October 2023:
This conference occurs about once a decade but has played a large role in setting the research and applications agenda for the CMIP/IPCC cycles – with CMIP7 and IPCC AR7 just around the corner it would be great to have strong climate impacts experts represented.
There are e.g. 3 sessions particularly on climate impacts (Land/marine ecosystems, food security&water availability, health&urban systems), 1 on climate/impact attribution, and a number of sessions on co-produced Climate Services and Solutions.
