The cross-sectoral CROSS-CASCADE and ISIMIP workshop 2026 will take place at:
- Where: Potsdam-Institute for Climate Impact Research, Potsdam, Germany
- When: 8-12 June 2026
- Mode: hybrid
The workshop will serve as the main, cross-sectoral ISIMIP workshop in 2026. The core workshop will probably be scheduled from Tuesday to Thursday, noon to noon, while there will be room for sector-specific events before/after the main event. Besides presentations of recent ISIMIP-related research, plenary sessions will focus on processes and requirements for starting the ISIMIP4 FT and catering to the ongoing IPCC AR7-/GST-cycle.
The workshop will also be the kick-off meeting of the new COST Action CROSS-CASCADE, and there will be thematic sessions along the CROSS-CASCADE Working Groups (ISIMIP input data and protocols, climate impact transmission chain models, coherent policies for adaptation, Storylines and Policy Simulations for co-production).
