The cross-sectoral CROSS-CASCADE and ISIMIP workshop 2026 will take place at:

The workshop will serve as the main, cross-sectoral ISIMIP workshop in 2026, and will also be the first full meeting of the new COST Action CROSS-CASCADE,. The core workshop will be scheduled from Tuesday to Thursday noon, while there will be room for sector-specific events before, and afterwards.
Thematic workshop sessions will be scheduled along the CROSS-CASCADE Working Groups on:
- ISIMIP input data and protocols,
- Climate impact transmission chain models,
- Coherent policies for adaptation,
- Storylines and Policy Simulations for co-production.
Besides presentations of recent ISIMIP3-based research and CROSS-CASCADE contributions, plenary sessions will focus on processes and requirements for starting the ISIMIP4 Fast Track to support the ongoing IPCC AR7-/GST-cycle. There is also a dedicated 1-day Water Quality/Groundwater/Water Global workshop planned as part of the related CROSS-CASCADE Task Group from WG1.
There will be slots for presentations, break-out groups, discussion rounds, etc. within the various sessions, and you are welcome to submit contributions to the above topics in the registration form. Moreover, there will be dedicated sectoral meetings, a poster session, and networking activities, as well.
