Student assistant position
at Research Domain 2 Climate Impacts and Vulnerabilities
within the ISIMIP - The Inter-Sectoral Impact Model Intercomparison Project.
Period: July-October 2018 (potentially longer), 40 hours per months
We are searching for a motivated master’s or advanced bachelor’s student to support the project coordination and management in the organization of several workshops. The tasks include:
- Communication with project partners
- Workshop organization
- Travel support
- Website support
Requirements: High motivation, very good English skills and an ability to communicate with people from many different countries. Skills in using Google-sheets/docs and WordPress is an advantage. A background in forestry, geography, geoecology, soil sciences, or related subject is helpful, but not necessary. Communication will be in English and German.
PIK seeks to increase the share of women in scientific positions and therefore explicitly encourage women to apply.
