Input data set: 20CRv3-ERA5

Protocol relation: Protocol
Data Type: Observed/Historical climate
Simulation rounds: ISIMIP3a
Description:

Climate related forcing: Atmospheric forcings - standard.

20CRv3-ERA5 global meteorological forcing data processed for ISIMIP3a. Daily data covering 1801-1900 (spinclim), 1851-1900 (transclim) and 1901-2021 (obsclim, counterclim) on a 0.5°x0.5° lat-lon grid

Scenarios: counterclim, obsclim, spinclim, transclim
Variables: hurs, huss, sfcWind, tas, tasmin, uas, rlds, rsds, ps, pr
Specifications

Combination of ERA5 for 1979-2021 with 20CRv3 (ensemble member 1) homogenized to ERA5 for 1901-1978. The homogenization was done in the same way as for GSWP3-W5E5.
