The PROCLIAS Working Group 4 "Communication and dissemination of climate impacts" (WG4) brings together scientists and key experts in the field of climate policy support and stakeholder engagement. One of the deliverables of WG4 is to develop strategies for stakeholder engagement within climate impact assessment.
With this purpose, WG4 will hold a paper writing workshop at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) on 12th & 13th October 2023.
The target audience is:
- Anyone with experience working with regional or local stakeholders or with sample case studies.
- PROCLIAS Working group and task group leaders are encouraged because of the relevance to their activities.
- Anyone working with policy makers, practitioners in climate impact assessments and adaptation.
- Anyone having strong interest in stakeholder engagement (no previous experience with stakeholders needed).
Priority will be given to participants who demonstrate tangible contributions, particularly those with case studies involving stakeholders in climate impact assessments.
