A flaw in ISIMIP3BASD v2.3.1 caused bad bias adjustments of all variables except ps, rlds, and tas. The problem is particularly severe for precipitation. The flaw was corrected in ISIMIP3BASD v2.4.1, which was used to re-do the harmonization of GSWP3 data to the corresponding EWEMBI or W5E5 data. The whole period 1901-1978 is affected. The old data were replaced by the new data on June 18, 2020. Differences between old and new data are shown here for GSWP3-EWEMBI and here for GSWP3-W5E5.
The counterclim and spinclim versions of GSWP3-W5E5 are affected too. The whole period 1901-2016 (1801-1900) is affected for counterclim (spinclim). Data for the affected variables were re-processed and re-published on June 30, 2020.
