Average wheat yields in some individual (clusters of) grid cells exhibit a systematic difference between the historical run and the other (picontrol, RCP) runs. See the attached map and timeseries plots for an illustration of the issue. A potential reason may be that the model grows winter wheat in the one case, and spring wheat in the other case, thus leading to different growing season lengths.
